Temperatures will climb into the 90’s by the weekend with some showers mid week.

Hydration will be key this week. If you work outdoors, please drink plenty of water and take breaks in the shade.

“Knee High by the 4th of July”…how about head high by the end of June. That’s what some of the corn down by the Windsor area looks like. Silks and tassels showing in a few fields. If we get some rain, you could see full tassel by the 4th of July.

Scouting multi product fungicide trial this morning and providing some initial observations and things to think about. Never too late in the season to keep learning so don’t give up on crop yet, still a lot of weight to pack in those kernels and nutrient demand. United Prairie, LLC
