You really would have to be ROBOTICALLY partisan not to notice the shameless difference between the micro-scrutiny being applied to Starmer’s govt’s doings by the news media and the deliberate blind eye they turned to the GROTESQUE corruption the Tories wallowed in.

The speech was substantial & realistic. It's good to hear them describing some kind of destination, rather than just a journey. But Labour could use some pithy encapsulation of their argument - their version of 'fixing the roof when the sun was shining'. They urgently need it.
