I used to think I wasn’t an AI alarmist. But that belief is now cracking. Any plausible definition of “AI risk” (or AGI risk) ultimately comes down to: Where do we draw the line — in a way humans can clearly understand? And we’ve moved those lines a lot over the past 50+ years.
