So many thoughts about our Dazai and Beast!Dazai and wondering if our Dazai knows about the book, and if so, Fyodor does too so there’s two people that know about it, meaning one of them would have to die if anyone else finds out about it/is told about it………

Is the whole Jewel smuggling thing at the start of stormbringer partially a parallel to the fact Mori calls Chuuya and Dazai “diamonds” and how the port mafia takes in (gifted) children who basically have no other choice and “gives them a second life”. Or am I crazy?

I’m also realising (those correct me if I’m wrong) that Chuuya probably learned to curse, and to speak in the cadence that he does, through Shirase bc they have a similar way of talking and Chuuya didn’t really seem to talk that way when they first met (?)

pm dazai who can function without sleep for around 4 to 5 days and chuuya once asking him when was the last time he slept and dazai goes like half a week ago? and chuuya is like yeah ur full of bullshit until he realizes dazai is not in fact joking

Reading stormbringer; does Chuuya scratch himself when he’s experiencing big(?) emotions that he wants to hide? He does it when he’s annoyed at Shirase for not shutting up and then he does it again when Adam tells him the probability that he’s human (when they’re about to meet N)

Chuuya being taken in by the young bloods for observation is very reminiscent of Dazai being partnered with Kunikida to make sure he had enough good in his heart to be loyal to the cause of saving people hm
