It's a timely 2022 J. Am. Chem. Soc. hat trick for the group!⚽️⚽️⚽️Check out Bre-Anna and David work on Ln-CPL with Spinol as a ligand (pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ja…). Super bright CPL emitters and some guiding clues towards maybe even brighter compounds (hence the lighthouse!)

Have we reached some limitations? Check out David's work Inorganic Chemistry on using the sphenol ligand for lanthanide CPL, some metric improvement but both ligand and complexes are somewhat sensitive, teaching us some valuable lessons for future ligand designs! pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac…

Our first story from my sabbatical adventure BioActinideChemistry Berkeley Lab is out Inorganic Chemistry! We witnessed curium luminescence upon reprocessing which inspired a ligand for Cm CPL.
