The Old Well will be closed June 17 - 28 for the installation of granite pavers on the upper platform. Paver installation will require the removal of the fountain, and repairs to the fountain plumbing will also be completed at this time. Learn more at go.unc.edu/g9SPp.

The Memorial Hall Roof Replacement project is now underway and is expected to be completed in October. The project will require the closure of a portion of the Hanes Hall Parking Lot. Pedestrians should remain alert to construction activity in the area. go.unc.edu/o7L5B.

Grounds Services is removing a large oak tree on Polk Place that is now hollow and has several splits in the trunk. The area around the tree will be secured, and pedestrians should use alternate walkways through this area. The tree will be replaced in the fall.

⚠️ Please use caution if walking on campus. Primary entrances/walkways have been treated and cleared, but due to low temperatures there are still areas that are slippery. Crews are working to clear additional areas, but with precipitation and low temperatures progress is limited.
