On a mission to the Western Sahara, where in Tindouf, I had opportunity to engage with United Nations uniformed and civilian personnel and with NGOs providing services in refugee camps on why preventing sexual misconduct matters Protecting those we serve and those who serve alongside us.

In Liberia, OVRA assists victims and children born of sexual exploitation and abuse by the UN in accessing livelihood projects. A specialized person is vital to ensure that no survivor is left behind. We need more field presence to ensure that victims’ rights remain a priority.
