As a web3 game dev you have 2 options: 1. Make a hard core PC game for gamers who hate micro transactions and spending money in general. 2. Make a mobile game for f2p audiences that don’t mind micro transactions or spending money in general. Most picked option 1! 🤣🤷🏼‍♂️

To everyone saying “do both” your favorite web3 game in development is going to do at least 10 more paid mints so they can afford it. Cross platform mobile/pc is for the extremely wealthy!

Here’s a bad idea for a web3 game. A game where: 1. No one spends any money 2. No one wants to buy your NFT 3. Appealing to gamers who hate spending money and NFTs

Why NFTs have value: Demand + Illiquidity. Demand is a function of attention + utility. (You could just say attention) Illiquidity is a function of small supply in relation to demand. The ideal NFT has a supply of 10k and 50m people trying to mint it at the same time.

On chain provable rarity is at the core of why NFTs will dominate the digital economy. It’s digital alchemy in the attention economy.

A simpler way to explain this is a NFT only costs a few dollars to make (deploy the NFT contract) . If you can conjure up a lot of attention to that NFT the results are explosive. NFTs are THE product of the attention economy.
