We were honored and excited to have a Miller Medicine alum as our keynote speaker for the 13th Annual MSTP Student Research Symposium last week - Dr. Roderic I. Pettigrew, MD, PhD! Dr. Pettigrew gave an excellent talk followed by a mentoring session for our current students.

I had so much fun at MD/PhD National Student Conference this past weekend! Huge kudos to the first year grad students at CU MSTP that organized this amazing event. It was so nice to gather with MD/PhD students from across the country (and not have to answer “so wait, WHAT is an MD/PhD?!” for 3 days 🤣).

So much fun at our annual MSTP retreat last week with students, directors, and faculty! This was our first over night retreat held at Baker's Cay Resort Key Largo. We also said farewell to one of our beloved Directors, Dr. Lemmon, who is retiring after almost 30 years in MD/PhD eduction.
