The first week of our Turing Program is over! Besides the interactive classes students had, they also got tons of fun as visiting the Umass' robot lab and having guest showing their projects. We hope everyone can enjoy this interesting and educative summertime!

The second week of our Turing Program just end. During this week, students enjoyed exploring the sensor world thorough bunch of interesting activities. Also, they have lunch with #UMassCICS dean talking about what she did to make her today and a tour in the IALS UMass Institute for Applied Life Sciences.

Last week students were given tours by SEED Lab @trishalandrew, and guest speaker Soha. Meanwhile, students gave speeches related to their final projects.

Our Turing Summer Program wraps up this week. Lots of fun teaching high-school students about #MobileHealth, #AI and #IoT. Thanks to many faculty for hosting visits to their labs. Great to see our 2019 Turing program undergrad instructors getting together for a reunion!

After a covid hiatus, the UMass Turing summer program (umassturing) is back! We look forward to welcoming local high-school students for next 3 weeks and expose them to big ideas in computational thinking, AI, mHealth, energy sustainability and more.

We wrapped up a busy first week of umassturing program for our high school participants. Interactive classes on AR/VR, autonomous cars, health, energy and a visit to robotics lab. Thanks to faculty and students for their participation.
