Hey JTO! This Thursday 5/4, SHPE is taking a tour of the Toole Design office in Boston! Toole works on regional planning and transportation engineering in the Boston area. If you are interested in joining along, please fill out the form (link is in our bio).

SAVE THE DATE! Tech Day is back and will be held on October 24-25 here at UMass! This event will include technical sessions, keynote speakers, a student poster session, awards, and a networking reception. Everyone is welcome! More information to come soon.

We had a great time at the WTS joint speaker event today at Northeastern!! We were able to listen and ask questions to professionals from MassDOT, AECOM, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and a professor at Harvard. Thank you Northeastern WTS for hosting!

Tech Day 2023 was a success! On Tuesday last week, we welcomed over 80 professionals and students to listen to speakers, participate in a student poster session, and join us for dinner and a reception. Thank you to all of our corporate sponsors for helping us put on this event.

Today we had our group hike at Mount Norwottuck! We may have had a few slips from the leaves, but the view up top and treats at Atkins afterward made it worthwhile :)
