This is one of those traps that NTs don’t even realize they’re setting. You’re supposed to ask questions, but not the actual questions that occur to you, those are weird. You need to have the ability to conjure questions you don’t have to make them feel like you care. Exhausting.

Like I can do the all talk thing, I can conjure those questions. But I would be insulted to be asked the kind of banal shit people apparently need to be asked; to me the questions people want to hear are things that seem irrelevant or obvious. And if you slip up, you’re an ass.
