Using a Brownian model developed for other sports, the authors show that Magnus has a 4.5% chance of reaching 2900 in his next 200 games if he keeps playing as he has been. His chances go up to 80% if he plays as he did during his hot streak in 2019. arxiv.org/abs/2208.09563

Very pleased with a Yokogawa W1 confocal unit + a new beast Hamamatsu FIRE camera. Thanks to Ken Anderson (BioVision) and Steve Throne (Ortran). Shown in the front is our ‘Godard’ microscope in a 30C Darwin chamber (+ a larger one at 37C in the back) in our lab’s microscope room.
