It's always safer for everyone to go easy on the victim when news of abuse drops. Cus there is so much unconfirmed bs in the media and it's mostly done to target the woman who’s the victim.

There are women right now in abusive relationships who don’t present as “perfect” victims — and who are reading the timeline looking at the world that will be waiting for them if they try to leave/speak out. I hope thé “accountability” league is proud of itself.

You people fought for your right to pile on a victim: going as far as to explicitly state that she deserves it. Now that you’re learning you were going off false information you’re saying the point still stands. God forbid some of you sha.

At the end of the day, I can go to bed at night knowing that I didn’t rush to judge a victim who’s seeking justice, worse yet, based on false rumours. I may be wrong all the time, but this time, I was right, and I am proud of where I stood. Egg on your face, no egg on my face.
