When it comes to the digital store fronts on game consoles, the PS5 has the best one. It's too hard to find anything not spruiked on the Xbox store & the eShop is slow & worse than Xbox when it comes to finding things.

I miss when games streamed from the disc. Install times from disc just take so long these days. This is why I always bought the Switch version of games over PS4/5 & Xbox One/Series games. Pop it in & play with maybe a small day one patch.

PS5 hides if a game is downloading a patch for a disc based game on install. Does it play? did you guys know this? I just installed Lost Soul Aside & it didn't inform me of any patches being downloaded & the info says it's version 1.003.000.

Oh boy... Lost Soul Aside drops frames in the Asura's Wraith style opening battle. Standing in the opening port after it & it is fluctuating a fair bit with my VRR info showing as low as 48.47hz. Lost Soul Aside this isn't exactly a good first impression.

Lost Soul Aside in performance mode on base PS5 OG disc model has a 60fps target, but seems to be mostly around 54fps so far & the resolution looks somewhere between 1080p & 1200p... so Dynamic Resolution Scaling?

Lost Soul Aside's music definitely has a Final Fantasy VII feel to it so far. Not complaining, just making an observation.

It's good that Lost Soul Aside has attack cancelling. Means combat flow can be maintained & you aren't married to the attacks you do. Not sure about iframes as yet.

It sucks that Lost Soul Aside is a PS5 console exclusive(for now) because it plays pretty good so far. PC players will probably get the most out of it since they can get higher frame rates.

Lost Soul Aside has a Devil Trigger with Kaser even having his hair change white. It also has about the same iframes as Bayonetta & a perfect block & dodge mechanic. It's a character action game for sure.

It's sad that I don't really have any Switch 2 or PS5 games I want to buy till next year. Price is the issue with PS5 because AU$130 for Silent Hill f is too much along with so many dull games. With Switch 2? GAME-KEY CARDS! F*ck those things! I'm buying the Switch 1 versions.

MechaBREAK is a dead game. Mecha BREAK【官方】 you had a good run, but your broken anti-cheat, pay to win garbage & unbalanced mechs left you with an underpopulated game that if you're lucky has a couple whales to blindly spend money on cosmetics.
