Over the weekend, I took a trip west to sunny Ullapool☀️ I popped into one of my favourite shops, Highland Stoneware. Their pottery is breathtakingly beautiful, and all hand painted by their local artists. I couldn't resist picking up a little something for the office too...👀

Beautiful wrasse in the oyster hoisters on Ullapool pontoons today. I see a male frequently here, they are very territorial so it could well be the same fellow, if it is, he clearly doesn't mind being taken on board and ogled on a regular basis. Ullapool

Anne, who is 103 out for a spin aboard Ullapool Sea Saver's boat Mada-Chuain on Friday. We managed to Tir Aluinn where her family used to live, Alltnaharrie that she knew of but had never seen up close, and we even got some stories about when she used to go out lobster fishing❤️

Hoping to try ID some of the Bottlenose Dolphins we had on 24/7/25 by Ullapool. Some good rake marks, scars and notches on some that might be suitable to match with other sightings elsewhere.

2 orphaned otter pups spotted on the busy A835 road south of Ullapool by a lady heading to Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival music festival this morning. They were located, checked by vet & tranferred to International Otter Survival Fund (IOSF) to raise and hpefully release. Named 'Bella' & 'Drum'. #belladrum BBC Springwatch
