Before tomorrow afternoon's thunderstorm risk, there could be a few cheeky storms around SW England and the tip of Wales in the morning hours as a trough moves SE. The risk is low but don't be surprised if you wake up to a rumble or two.

Despite the thunderstorm risk primarily being over Southern England, an area of convergence is gradually setting up from the West Midlands southward. This will encourage a train of showers or possibly storms to develop later on.

Scattered showers have been the theme today for most of Ireland, Scotland and NW England, with sporadic lightning detected in places. The thunderstorm risk, albeit small, will continue through the night into Monday morning.

Seems to be a nasty squall line in Northern Ireland at the moment, strong wind gusts and torrential rain will be likely as it moves through.
