Awesome to see the great stuff that the NEPTUNE ExCALIBUR exascale programme project from UK Atomic Energy Authority are doing leveraging Nektar++ and SYCLstd for fusion simulations on CPUs and GPUs.

After a quick break, we are back to hear about the #ExCALIBUR H&ES novel hardware #testbeds at the ExCALIBUR exascale programme programme workshop

Fortran is the Lingua Franca of scientific computing, Andy Porter from Science and Technology Facilities Council talks about #PSyclone DSL which enables accessible programming of #HPC and used extensively by Met Office Science

Alongside our sold out #CIUK2024 exhibition we also have a full CIUK Research Zone - an area where Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council Tier-2 Centres, and other sites with significant size computing facilities, have the opportunity to join the CIUK exhibition and update attendees on their activities...

We are very much looking forward to Computing Insight UK this year, with an #ExCALIBUR booth, programme breakout sessions and talks by projects it will be a great opportunity to share some of the outcomes of the programme with the wider UK community. excalibur.ac.uk/events/computi…

The #ExCALIBUR H&ES breakout at #CIUK2024 begins with a talk by Sadaf Alam from University of Bristol talking about AIRRFED which federates #ai supercomputers and is already in operation

Alastair Basden from Durham University talks about #ExCALIBUR testbeds at #durham and more widely reflections on the programme as a whole

Saved the best till last at #CIUK2024 where Alastair Basden talks about the Durham University hardware lab, part funded by #ExCALIBUR

A packed room at #HPCDays #Durham where Afia from UK Research and Innovation describes the #DRI programme and highlights the importance of people and research culture

Kick off of three new #DRI projects at #Durham #HPCDays - CAKE for knowledge exchange, ACIT-HUB and SHAREing which are hubs for accelerated compute. Funded by Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council and UK Research and Innovation
