I don’t know what Tyrese has done but somehow his three-point shot has become even more deadly. Wondering if he ever left the gym over the off-season. #sixers

Crucial juncture going into this TO. 2 mins to go in the half, lots of key players have had to play big minutes or have had a precarious number of fouls. If we can just keep the Magic at arms length with Gordon and Sallis on the floor then that’ll be a magnificent piece of work.

End Q2: Magic 60-72 Philadelphia 76ers I am in awe of this team. Whilst this game is far from over I am so taken aback by the effort we are seeing. Every one of these players are playing for one another and for this city. This is all we wanted. So proud of the lads! #sixers

Magic were always going to come back. Now just have to make sure we don’t panic, keep getting good looks and get the scoreboard ticking. Orlando feasting off our poor transition D, this negates itself if we’re clinical on the other end. #sixers

End Q3: Magic 94-101 Philadelphia 76ers The Magic will keep coming back and they aren’t giving up. We’ve just got to make sure we keep executing, not settling for poor shots, and doing our best to match them on the defensive end. Fair play Anthony Black for that heave at the buzzer.

End Q4: Magic 124 - 136 Philadelphia 76ers In my 7yrs of supporting this team this is one of the best games I’ve seen. It wasn’t the most dominant, nor did it showcase the best basketball ever. But the grit and determination showed by every player got us the W against a great side.

TYRESE & VJ: The MOST POINTS by a starting backcourt through 3 games (186) since starters were tracked in 1970-71. The next 4: Kyrie Irving/Caris LeVert ('19-20) Damian Lillard/CJ McCollum ('16-17) Russell Westbrook/Victor Oladipo ('16-17) Stephen Curry/Klay Thompson ('14-15)

PG: Maxey SG: Edgecombe SF: George PF: Watford C: Embiid 6th Man: McCain Bench: Grimes Bench: Oubre Bench: Barlow Bench: Bona/ Drummond I cannot wait to see this team fully fit. Another PF/SF via trade or in the buyout and we could do serious damage! #sixers

The graphic shows that finally we have a dominant backcourt that can win games without Joel, yet the responses to this are simply trade PG and Embiid, rather than allow PG and Embiid to positively impact this team without having the weight of the world on their shoulders.
