Live lessons for Grades 11 and 12 and remote learning for all. UIS is following UAE government advice below.

Amended programme for the next two days - Thursday - live lessons for G11 and G12, remote learning and a tutor call for all students in their Homeroom classes. Friday - live lessons for all students in all grades. Specific details communicated by Heads of School imminently.

The UIS heroes. Countless hours of work, struggled to get home (many had to stay in the school overnight) and they are still smiling. We owe you. What an attitude. We will ‘tip our hats’ to you all on our return. They are ‘the salt of the earth’

As the UAE bounces back from this week, our school trip to Barcelona have checked in and are ready to fly. Fantastic news. If Barca FC are ‘more than a club’, UIS is ‘more than a school’

I am delighted that our school will be open tomorrow. It will be fantastic to see our students. Two bus routes may not be operational. However, those respective parents will be communicated with directly in the next hour.

Closing out two days at the School and Nursery Show. A fantastic PR event that will undoubtedly result in multiple enrolments. Special mention to the Admissions team of Maria, Rima and Reham who were terrific and were ever present. The reason our school roll is so healthy.

Unfortunately, UIS will be closed on Thursday and Friday of this week. This is in response to KHDA advice tonight. Live lessons will be in operation on both days for all grades. We are seeking to reschedule Grade 12 IB exams, but confirmation of this will follow tomorrow

DP exams at UIS will take place as originally planned tomorrow. The school will be closed to all other students and live lessons will operate online. Grade 12 parents have received an email directly with more information.

Our Grade 12 exams go ahead today as planned. I have arrived on site and the school is in good shape. Safety is of paramount importance, so do not travel if it is too dangerous. Wishing all our students the best of luck today.
