The SUPERLOCAL project has had a 'Klankbordgroep' for several years now. It includes local residents and future residents of the area. Because of Corona, the group had not come together for several months. Last tuesday they had a guided tour with explanations about the area.

SUPERLOCAL is finalist at The Innovation in Politics Awards 2020 in the category 'Ecology'. "We are honored to be among the ten most valued candidates. It is a confirmation of the excellent cooperation with all partners", says alderman Tim Weijers.

At SCE materials from the flats are reused, among other things, for the construction of dwellings and public space. For example, a start was recently made with the construction of the street at the 15 ground-level residences. Concrete will be reused for this.

This week, the first residents of the SUPERLOCAL area received the key to their new home. The first 15 homes of the project have been completed and handed over. Read more: bit.ly/3pn2yIV

Super Circular Estate has managed to join the list of 45 "deserving cities" at the Guangzhou award in China. A total of 273 initiatives from 175 cities and 60 countries registered. The Guangzhou Institute is about urban renewal.

In October 2017, the unique project SUPERLOCAL - Super Circular Estate received a European grant from @UIA_Initiative (Urban Innovative Actions). On 30 April, the official grant deadline expired and thus time to take stock. Read more: bit.ly/3f6Mj0b

As is well known, the SUPERLOCAL project has received, among other things, a European UIA subsidy. Recently, a plaque was placed in front of the Feniks-3. In this way, information about this project can still be found in the area in the future.
