I think 6 week half terms are the limit for me. Anything after I start to get ill, stressed, the children are struggling and I find myself crawling through the weeks. The first 6 weeks are typically okay.

I struggle with autumn half term because I’m so tired from 8 weeks of what I always find the hardest term, have 8 weeks worth of catching up on life admin to do as well as 8 weeks of planning for next half term, whilst I just need rest. I end up only having 2/5 days to chill😴

We get a recharge day each term at my school and I spent mine exploring Liverpool!🫶🏻

I don’t usually mind any of the trends/phases in school but 6 7 will be the death of me😂 the amount of times you say it JUST FROM COUNTING in a day is toooo much

The intensity of working in education at the minute is another level. The idea that we can keep cutting back as the level of need continues to increase is pretty unnerving.
