Cutouts from fabric are always littered, contributing to environmental degradation. We are training young girls to transform this waste into beautiful carpets, aiming to mitigate fabric pollution and promote environmental conservation.

Thank you so much, Bibi Rukwengye and your team at Boundless Minds for giving us an early Christmas gift. This literacy material you have donated to us will be pivotal in our effort to bridge literacy gaps in Acholi Quarter.

Climate Action should indeed be a collective effort as the dire ramifications of climate change affect everyone indiscriminately.

It is a joy to see young people using their skills to make a living. Imagine if there were more deliberate efforts from parents, civil society, the government, and other stakeholders to ensure that the youth acquire skills tailored on their interests! Congrats! iAm Uncle Mo

Imagine if small libraries, like Stabex, were everywhere in Uganda. This way, the youth would be enlightened, knowledgeable, and become good citizens. Ignoring the affective domains among the youth may lead to many turning into criminals.

An educator should not be indifferent to the challenges of the students. You did well. The world needs more educators like you.

Through our, 'My Friend's Keeper Literacy Initiative', we work to foster literacy skills in young girls. A girl who knows how to read and write supports sustainable development in her community. We wish all girls out there a happy International Girl Child Day.

As the world celebrates teachers today, we celebrate Mosh the poet (in maroon), our project coordinator in Acholi Quarter Slum. He moves door to door teaching young people literacy skills. He's illustrated that you don't have to be a classroom teacher to teach & impact lives.
