One of my recent papers was about using visual analysis to price classical paintings by Swedish Masters. I made a video for the "lay" audience explaining what we did. youtu.be/pOUsjcsVQps So... Can you guess the theme of a painting from its name?

When your wife walks in on you while working on this paper, and you have to explain that looking a nude paintings is working :P

One the things I like a lot about my job, is the ability to collaborate on cool projects. Together with my co-author @colinmoll.bsky.social , we wrote the following paper. We have now finished a new version and submitted it to a journal. Fingers crossed!

I may or may not (still) drink a questionable amount of coffe each day. I have even been told that students start drinking more coffee after having a class with me. How many cups of coffe do you drink on a regular day?

In between all my teaching tasks, management tasks and all kinds of other taks, I sometimes have the time to conduct some research. Managed to submit an article to the Journal of Happiness Studies. Let's see if that will make me happy...
