This might be a good reason to expedite Novavax XBB approval AND administration Ministry of Health - Manatū Hauora JN.1 now 26% and climbing. Continuing the use of the bivalent booster may not be the best vaccine component of a “summer wellness” strategy…just saying

Come on Ministry of Health - Manatū Hauora this should send you skittering, the vaccines you are currently advising people to get offer "no protection against hospitalisation" from JN.1 which is either already dominant or close to it in NZ, while the vaccines that offer 60% protection are sitting idle
