Thanks for the feedback about the speaker lineup for the symposium, this is an important issue. Sorry for the oversight. We are adjusting the schedule accordingly to make the symposium more diverse. - John and Sri.

What is the "champagne algorithm" 🍾👩‍💻and how can we use it in epilepsy to pinpoint the location of bad bursts of activity in the brain? Our own Dr. Heidi Kirsch Heidi Kirsch co-authors a study led by the Speech Neuroscience & Biomagnetic Imaging Labs to see how performs in practice: frontiersin.org/articles/10.33…

Officially out! elifesciences.org/articles/63905 When I joined them, UCSF MAC & Speech Neuroscience & Biomagnetic Imaging Labs had started collecting MEG data while svPPA patients categorized items. Due to ATL atrophy, these patients don't know what a zebra is, but they can say it's an animal. How is that possible?

Back in 2017 I couldn't believe my luck: someone at UC San Francisco was combining neuropsychology (PPA, UCSF MAC) & neuroimaging (MEG, Speech Neuroscience & Biomagnetic Imaging Labs ) and I could work with them ✨ Here comes the latest output 👇🏼 For more check out doi.org/10.1093/brain/… & doi.org/10.7554/eLife.…
