A large dormant black hole has been spotted not far from Earth, just under 2,000 light years away, by the ESA Gaia space mission involving Dr George Seabroke MullardSpaceScience. It is the heaviest known black hole in our galaxy formed from an exploding star ucl.ac.uk/news/2024/apr/…
