On June 20, 23 graduates of UC Irvine's inaugural UCI LIFTED cohort received their BAs in sociology at a commencement ceremony held at the Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility. Launched in 2020, LIFTED is the first in-prison BA program offered by the University of California system. ⬇️
