Samples have started coming in! I was worried about labelling, but so far everyone has been diligently labelling collection tubes and zip lock bags so no sample has been unclaimed :) it is great to have a room temperature preservation system - DNA Genotek Inc. tubes FTW!

Quick study update – we have more than half of the participants needed for the study! More people are due to be contacted in January so places for the study are filling up quickly 😊

We reached our magic number of 40 study participants!!!! 🎉🎉🎉 However, please note that you can still sign up as we would love to have more people (and dogs) on, we have approx. 8 more spaces on the study 🙂

DNA extractions are under way! (Loud sound warning 😀)

We reached our maximum number of study participants! 48 people and 48 dogs are now enrolled in our study. And nearly all the samples have come back, so soon we will be able to start sequencing!
