Speculative controversial take: we should legitimize price gouging by top stake pool providers. Like, if a stake pool controls > 15%, it should be accepted and even *expected* for the pool to keep increasing its fee rate until it goes back below 15%.

Stop "experimenting" with ponzis, algostables, yield farming and other unsustainable nonsense. Start experimenting with public goods funding, governance/DAOs, decentralized identity/reputation, regenerative finance and privacy tools. This is the gwei.

Strongly support this. Coordinated sympathy and relief for the average UST smallholder who got told something dumb about "20% interest rates on the US dollar" by an influencer, personal responsibility and SFYL for the wealthy.

The obvious precedent is FDIC insurance (up to $250k per person) An interesting unrelated one is Singapore employment law. Stronger regulation for low-earning employees, and a more figure-it-out-yourself approach for the wealthier. IMO things like this are good hybrid formulas.

1/8 These past weeks have proven to be a watershed moment for the crypto industry. We have witnessed the rapid decline of a major project, which sent ripples across the industry, but also a new found resiliency in the market that did not exist during the last market downswing.

We probably do have some from trading fees. Probably valued close to 0 now. (Think of it as free trading in the past, haha). This just wasn't on my mind. Not how we prioritize things. Users first. 🙏

I did ask about the rumored "2nd round investments or UST". There were discussions, never closed. Binance did not buy UST.
