That is, 26% of all uni applicants (incl non-Year 12s) gain entry to undergraduate study via ATAR. But it's a tool only used for Year 12 students and yes, many unis use other criteria and pathways as well. There are lots of options for Year 12s.

More than 35,000 hopeful university applicants can begin planning their year ahead with the release of offers for study in 2022. They have until midnight on Saturday, 29 January, to change preferences to be included in the next offer round on Thursday 3 February.
