Manuscript acceptance dance Monday! Congrats Fran Regina_Cabrera Eleanor Schrems Kevin Murach and all others! AJP-Cell Physiology #cancercachexia
Richard Skipworth and I are very proud of our PhD students Michael Yule Leo Brown who have published in The BMJ bmj.com/content/387/bm… with Prof Steve Wigmore & Dr Rachel Waller on #cachexia Caledonian Cachexia Collaborative great work!
Our 3rd new manuscript this week: Luca Delfinis, PhD found a mitochondrial-targeted compound partially prevents muscle weakness without preventing atrophy in ovarian cancer. This opens a new direction for therapies targeting muscle ‘quality’. biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

Hey Myotwitter! A call for papers in AJP-Cell Physiology edited by LEMuR@Mac Cory Dungan, PhD and yours truly. We would love to see your work so send it our way! New AJP-CELL Call for Papers: Myogenic Stem Cells: From Single Cell Biology to Muscle Physiology
The Education Committee of the Cancer Cachexia Society Society invites you to our seminar on November 13 at 12:00 pm EST with Barry Laird and Richard Skipworth, University of Edinburgh, UK. Seminars are open to everyone, please share! See cancercachexiasociety.org for link.
New out in AJP-Cell Physiology from Bonetto Lab @ CU-AMC in our special call for mechanisms in the heterogeneity of cachexia. Great work y'all! journals.physiology.org/doi/abs/10.115…
