Team HuMax participated in the VEX Robotics regional final in ATU, Galway today. Teams have to build and code a robot. Our team placed 7/9 in the qualifiers and played in the semi final. The students had a great day. Well done to Ms. Connaughton & the TY girls involved 👏🏻👏🏻

Yesterday our TY’s started practicing for their annual TY Fashion Show! They were learning how to walk correctly in high heels 👡 They also began learning a dance for one of their performances 💃🕺🏻

In preparation for the upcoming annual fashion show, Ty's had a hair workshop yesterday with past pupil & local hairdresser Saoirse Lally. Students learnt about hair healthcare & maintenance to quick and easy up-styles! Thanks to Saoirse for giving this workshop! WorldWise Global Schools

Transition Years had a great day on Tuesday at First Aid Training. After all their hard work, they had the opportunity to relax and unwind with Pilates. Well done girls ⛑️🧘🏻‍♀️

On Wednesday our TYs took part in the Bank of Ireland Money Smart Competition at the RDS in Dublin. It was a very enjoyable day. Well done to all our students who took part in the competition.👏🏻👏🏻

On monday this week we had makeup artist Jessica Lotus come in to our TYs to hold a makeup workshop. She demonstrated on one of our TY’s, Amy and did a fantastic job teaching them how to do their makeup for the fashion show! We are so grateful to Jessica for giving up her time!

Last Thursday the TY’s went on their last TY trip to Emerald Park! They had loads of fun going on the thrilling rides and roller coasters. After the trip the TY’s had a ‘sleep-in’ at school in aid of charity.

Each TY got sponsored by friends and family to raise money for the charity “Hands of Care and Hope”. At the ‘sleep-in’ they danced,watched movies, played games, they even played a game of hide and seek! A BIG thank you to all of the teachers who helped make this day possible.
