Finally got to see all the new signs with my art at Blank Park Zoo last night! I drew 23 dinosaur silhouettes for their “Dino Park Zoo” rebrand, matching the style of the signs they already had from Dino Don, Inc. So cool seeing my art featured all over my local zoo! #paleoart

Celebrating a belated #WorldLizardDay with some cool lizards I saw at the Science Museum of Minnesota during last year’s SVP meeting: Mosasaurus and Titanoboa (yes, snakes are technically lizards).

Started sketching an old friend before switching to commissioned work yesterday, and now I kind of want to redo the whole set. I’ve come a long way as an artist since 2018… #cryptozoology #seaserpent

Many people say Graham Hancock inspires interest in archaeology. But his fans hate archaeologists who try to correct the record In fact, it's the opposite. Hancock and his buddies inspire interest in fantasy, a fantasy opposed to actual archaeology and our human past

Introducing a crazy new look for Spicomellus, based on newly described osteoderms unlike anything we've ever seen before. I was brought in to produce a life reconstruction based on the new material, published today by Maidment et al. in Nature: nature.com/articles/s4158…

On one hand, I’m glad this commission is expanding my horizons. My go-to backgrounds are “white void” and “blue = underwater,” so learning to properly render an environment is good for me. On the other hand, damn, trees are hard. Bob Ross lied to me, they are not happy.

Tonight’s episode of Alien: Earth was great, and I’m loving the show… but man, I wish I could say the same about its xenomorph. I’ve reallly tried, but I just do not like the new design or how it’s shot at all. Thank god for this little bastard. 10/10, absolute perfection.
