We have a $26B ag trade deficit with the EU, with over $3B of that in dairy, Doud tells Ways and Means Committee Chair Rep. Jason Smith at today’s Trade Subcommittee hearing. The EU uses a variety of barriers to restrict U.S. #dairy market access and avoid competition.

For decades, Canada has limited access to their dairy market by failing to meet their Free Trade Agreement obligations. I applaud President Trump for standing up for America’s dairy farmers and working toward fair trade with our neighbor to the north.
