What’s the best no frills object storage + sync layer? Eg creating a dropbox clone or something. Don’t wanna touch s3 for now, is supabase storage good?

re: chiang— it's futile to argue that a paintbrush, because it does not experience humanity, cannot create art. It makes two category errors: one, mistaking that art is created by tools rather than artists; and two, that art is christened by construction, rather than culture.

My son is interested in Stop Motion video, but all the apps on the store are garbage, too finicky for a 5 year old. I always wanted to just make a decent one, but never had the time. I did it with Melty in 20 minutes and now he's making Sonic the hedgehog clips nonstop.

Ok I just made this hackathon submission for pm in 4 minutes while on the muni. This is a glimpse of the future of programming. Note it is a bit on rails, you can only use python / flask / vanilla js, but it is a great start

im lucky enough to have prototyped the early versions of this last year for the ted talk– IMO this is one of the most practical steps towards agents as a runtime, not just as assistants. bullish!

there should be a method like .filter but it's .separate() or something where it filters according to the condition but returns both the filtered and non-filtered elements
