While we wait for the Trump January 6th indictment, I do want to suggest this: Jack Smith has done more for American democracy in 8 months than the Republican Party has done in 8 years.

He didn’t want the surveillance footage destroyed solely because it would show he was hiding classified documents. He wanted it destroyed because it might show who had access to them.
