As a Tibetan I would like to thank our friends across the free world for their support in our fight for truth, justice & freedom on March 10th, our national uprising day. After more than 7 decades of Chinese Communist rule, national spirit of Tibetans especially inside strong.

"Voice for the Voiceless" book by His Holiness the Dalai Lama is the one for the history. Final definitive and authoritative account of his dealings with the Chinese Communist authorities over more seven decades seeking mutually benefitial solution via nonviolence and dialogue.

As a Tibetan I welcome the joint statement of 28 European countries on the continuing human rights situation in Tibet at the ongoing 58th session of the UN Human Rights Council on 20 March 2025.

In open democracies citizens have the inalienable right & power to vote. Those who are too irresponsible, indefferent, lazy or careless not to use it have no right to complain later. Sage advice of President Obama: VOTE NOT BOO.

Though Mr Carney is well qualified as a Prime Minister, as a Canadian Tibetan I was disappointed his exclusion of the Dalai Lama from list of Nobel Laureates, world religious leaders on climate issues in his book " Values". Even Nobel Peace Prize Citation acknowledged it.

Life's two basic lessons in all affairs: -chaos breeds chaos -hatred breeds hatred. As Buddha told us: fire cannot be extinguished by fire.

Best news for Tibetans and our friends worldwide. His Holiness' book "Voice for the Voiceless" has already made the Best Seller list in New York Times. His life time service to humanity and Tibetan people in a nutshell.

As a Canadian Tibetan I would urge fellow Canadians to follow President Obama's sage advice: "Vote not Boo". Biggest mistakes citizens in open democracies make is not to use their inalienable right to vote and then mourn & complain later. Frankly only themselves to blame.

I wish & hope political & spiritual leaders around the world pay attention to what His Holiness the Dalai has to say in his latest book Voice for the Voiceless. In 150 pages he shares his views serving the oppressed, marginalized, deprived, voiceless as true public servants.

These days leaders in powerful & responsible positions forget the age old wisdom: HONESTY IS THE BEST POLICY If they follow this all will be good.

All Tibetans should be proud & happy first female Chief Justice was elected to one equal branch of the Central Tibetan Administration. Fulfilment of His Holiness' vision of gender equality. Another historic moment in our democracy journey.

In 1960s l went to England on British Council scholarship. Participated in student demonstrations against apartheid, Vietnam war, British Irish policies. Had no problem. My admiration and respect for openness, freedom of speech, tolerance of the govt never changed.

I am a firm believer in Dr. Martin Luther King's sage words: "THE ARC OF HISTORY IS LONG BUT IT BENDS TOWARDS JUSTICE ". Those who are seeking truth and justice everywhere should never give up whatever their immediate circumstances.
