Almost 2” of rain on the west side from today’s storm. Also about 15 swift water rescue calls in the City of Tucson in a very short period. PLEASE stay away from/out of washes & don’t drive on flooded roads! Ruining your ride will be the least of your problems!!

In a span of 90 minutes, TFD responded to over 25 monsoon calls, alongside our auto aid partners. 15 of those calls involved stranded drivers or those stuck in swift moving water. One of those calls involved an adult female found at Camp Lowell and Swan in the Rillito River.
