A friend had his last day at work. After 13 years dedicated service he was given a box of biscuits. Told him to nibble a couple and return the 'gift' with a note saying: I can't accept this gift as like the way you run your business these are stale, uninspiring and thoughtless.

An extraordinary degree of delusion. In Bristol children and young people have no access to mental health support for over two years unless suicidal. Hard to see why anyone can pat themselves on the back when that is the reality.

The DfE Wellbeing Charter was launched in 2021. A report summarising the progress of said charter, indicates 3,000 schools and colleges have signed up. As there are over 24k schools in England quoting the charter as a strategy to improve morale really is scraping the barrel.
