I generally use a loose sword grip like this. It looks great when slashing and thrusting both, so it's perfect for lazy animators like me who don't want to animate the sword grip lol

Aimi basic locomotion from Byte Breakers Her jump was designed to look especially good when sprinting into a jump, like a cat pouncing She was my favorite character to animate! I did most of the animation here, but the basic upright running was modified a bit by a coworker

Luna basic locomotion from Byte Breakers Luna uniquely has 5 different jump animations to express her chaotic personality and make her cuter I was thinking what to do for her idle and started tilting my head back and forth, and I thought it worked well so I also tilted her head

I had to work quickly for Byte Breakers, so there wasn't time to explore ideas much. Luna was one of the easier characters for me since she's bouncy and childish I did most of the animations for the test last year, about 900 seconds of animation over 10 months
