From the actual farm this morning to the Farm letsgototheex this afternoon. Been busy asking egg/hen questions & handing out Get Cracking swag! Fun to see all the smiling faces again in the big city.

First few eggs found in the pullet barns this morning 🥚🍳🥚 B3 is 17wks old (browns) B4 is 16wks old (white) Founs 3 eggs in a unit in each barn, pretty neat...well on their way to be egg laying hens.

Our hens are 25wks old! When a hen comes into production, it's not unusual for them to lay a double yoker...quite the weight difference between them and a single yoke egg stack. As they get older, the egg size increases. A younger hens double yoker vs older hens.
