This is a new account for a new Socialist party branch in Liverpool. Following a sustained period of growth for our party in Liverpool we decided to create a second branch to help sink deeper roots into the city. We will share our activities, plans etc on this account!

We as an organisation defended the victims of the Hillsborough disaster when it happened and will continue to do so today. Come along to our weekly meeting where we will be discussing the proposed Hillsborough law amidst the anniversary of the disaster on the 15th.

Peter Taaffe was a great Marxist and an icon of the British working class. Just like Trotsky before him one of his final contributions to Marxism was its defence against revisionism. His contributions as part of Militant and the Socialist Party will continue to inspire many. RIP.

I agree, and a good phrase. The TU’s are wasting the money of their hard working members by passing along millions of pounds to anti worker, right wing Labour. Something has got to give. We cannot keep allowing Reform an open goal- we need a new mass workers party!
