This week we had 2 very awesome thanksgiving games in PE. This is 1 of them. Build-A-Turkey was kids favorite. They had to work in teams & strategize on how they were going to build their turkey, used locomotor skills, and lots of creativity. #physed Caldwell ISD

This is the 2nd Thanksgiving game we had this week. Also amazing and fun. Kids got to work on lower body strength on scooters, learn about the farm to market turkey process and their counting skills. All a win! #physed Caldwell ISD

Chromebooks in #physed? Yes! Lumio 💛 Monster Quiz on our SMART Technologies board. We did it first thing in class. Student collaboration on a formative assessment for our basketball unit. Best part was their excitement as they could see their results in real time Caldwell ISD

Last week in #PhysEd Caldwell ISD our 3rd graders played our money shot game and reinforcing math money skills along with it. They absolutely had a blast 💥 with it seeing their money 💰 pot grow 😊

#PhysEd basketball 🏀 hoop hack!!!! What do you do when your little ones can’t reach the big kid hoops or you need more hoops for more game stations? Our school only has 2 backboards and I’ve got 70+ kids at a time 😬 2 is not enough.

Tic Tac Toe basketball 🏀 is always a favorite for my kids in #physed Caldwell ISD. Stand on the dot to make a shot. If you make it, you put a beanbag on it. First team to connect three in a row wins. Huge rule: you cannot stand on a dot without a ball.

Had a chance to observe Coach Berry this morning with a Pe class. It’s not often an AD dedicates time to those not in a sport. This type of time investment from the AD/Head Football coach lets these students know they matter. All kids matter at Hubbard ISD!
