We had a 'super helpful' assistant (my 9 y.o.) helping us get this BRANDT trial out looking at thatch breakdown and soil health in C3 and C4 grass stands.

After a ridiculous amount of rain over the past couple of months, we've finally dried out enough where we had to fire up the irrigation. Got to keep this newly planted creeping bentgrass study happy.

Ever wonder if The A-LIST testing is legit? Check out the drought stress on our new creeping bentgrass trial. We also see dollar spot on some of the plots because the nitrogen rate is very low. A-LIST certainly separates the men from the boys. Pretty cool and hardcore research.

In the middle of seed harvest in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. 12 months of watering, spraying, fertilizing, roguing and praying…. And just like that, we’ll start all over again 😉

A big seeding on a hot day! That’s what we’re doing to improve disease resistance in tall fescue. About 1,400 plots were planted in this trial and will be evaluated for gray leaf spot resistance. Very excited to see this one progress! #turfbreedingforthefuture
