They’re still doing it like this and it’s still really strange. It’s especially weird with all the other diegetic sounds audible. Makes it feel like a mistake.

My least favorite "video editing" thing is sound design. When I can't rip audio track from the source, trying to recreate the entire soundscape is such a huge pain. Even just finding the right sound effects feels like such a crapshoot. Anyone have tips to make this less painful?

In SA2, the result of Sonic and Shadow's final fight is left ambiguous. We know at least that Sonic made it to the Eclipse Cannon. But the next time we see Shadow, he's unhurt. My theory is that Shadow's change of heart actually started because they had crazy off-screen sex.

I wish more reviews engaged with games as artistic works like this.
