A splash of early springtime colour from the fantastic eucalyptus forests of SW Australia last week. Also bumped into the strange looking bird-orchid (but no photo 🙄)…hopefully the ID in ALT is about right! #allnewtome WA Orchids

Not sure if this was the same bird as the earlier distant one or if it was a different one altogether. Likely to be at least one of the Frampton birds - any update on them? #glosbirds Slimbridge Sightings Nick goatman Mike King🦉🐺

16:45 worth a look at the 20 or so pied wags on island in front of Peng Obs on the Rushy. Currently at least 2 whites though partially obscured in vegetation at back of island Slimbridge Sightings #glosbirds

Such a wonderful sound and sight 🔊 Yesterday we saw this large flock of pink-footed geese flying into the mere as they return from Iceland to spend the winter in the UK. We are now over 1000 in numbers and counting! Welcome back!
