Today we visited a group of young farmers in Alia Community in Chawia Ward and conducted basic snake awareness training on prevention measures and First Aid procedures when handling snakebite accidents.

Youth empowerment is essential in addressing social issues such as poverty, inequality, and discrimination. When young people are empowered, they are better able to advocate for their rights and the rights of their communities, making a positive impact on society.

OBSERVING KENYA’S NATIONAL TREE PLANTING DAY Together with staff and managers from Teita Sisal Estate Ltd, Mwatate Divers and residents in Majengo Mwatate, we have successfully managed to plant 420 tree seedlings in Majengo area, near Mwatate dam. T #NationalTreePlantingDay

Environmental education sets the foundation for young people to gain the necessary knowledge, skills, and motivation to take an active role in protecting the environment and creating more resilient communities.

𝗙𝗢𝗦𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗣𝗢𝗡𝗦𝗜𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗦 We have dedicated this week to educating young people in local schools on their role in Environmental Conservation, and how they can actively contribute to the Global fight against Climate Change.

𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗔𝗜𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗙𝗨𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘 In an era of climate change and environmental challenges, preparing students to be environmentally literate is crucial. They'll need the knowledge and skills to address issues like climate change, pollution, and habitat destruction
