A1: I make it a point to avoid my office first thing in the morning. I like to be out on the playground or in the car line to see our kids and their families...best way to start a day is with hugs and high-fives from these kiddos! #VAESPchat

This is something I am trying to be better about...I want to leave three positive notes a day, either to staff or students...just something simple that I saw to let them know that they are crushing it. #VAESPchat

A2: I took an idea from Brent Coley and started having staff give each other "Rock Star Awards". I use Google Forms and Autocrat to create certificates and then share the goodness in our weekly staff blog. I give time at the start of staff meetings. #VAESPchat

I did this as well...gave the results to grade level teams so they could know more about each other! #VAESPchat

I have seen Joe use the "Good News Call of the Day" with staff...I sent home notes to their emergency contacts letting them know the value the staff member has for me and our school! #VAESPchat

A3: This is where social media can be a value...being intentional to share stories from grade levels and kids to showcase the positive...I try to make that intention to do one post on a different grade level or team each day. #VAESPchat

A4: I intentionally do two things...1. I turn off my computer screen and 2. Turn my phone over and put my Apple Watch on silent! #VAESPchat
