On packaged #food you should see the #allergens listed in the ingredients and they should be highlighted using a different font, in bold or even underlined. #easytoAsk

In cafes & pubs there should be signs encouraging you to ask what #allergens are in your meal. This could be on the menu or displayed nearby when you order your food. If you don't see them it's #easytoAsk

It is an offence not to list an #allergenic ingredient, to misdescribe food or to serve food that is unsafe. #easytoAsk

If offences are committed in respect of #allergens there can be unlimited fines and prison sentences for the food business. #easytoAsk
